Islam has become an important worldview to understand and respond to. Even if you don't know a Muslim you may be asked questions about Islam, or have questions yourself. Samuel Green has put together Engaging With Islam, an informative and easy-to-run course, which aims to equip Christians:

• to understand Islam
• to engage effectively with Muslims
• to engage effectively with those who make comments about Islam or have questions
• to stand firm as a Christian, to defend the gospel and to address issues quickly and confidently

You can do this course individually, as a church group, or as part of leadership training. Anyone can lead this course as no previous knowledge of Islam is required and leader's notes are provided. A workbook can also be purchased for participants.

Here We Stand has three interviews with converts from Islam to Christianity. Each of them describes their life as a Muslim and how they came to understand the truth about Jesus. The DVD also answers the Islamic claims that Muhammad is a prophet of God, and that the Qur’an is miraculous.

Jay Smith visited Australian in 2009 and gave the following talks.

• "The Qur'an and History" - Examines the formation of the Qur'an and its contents in the light of the latest historical research.
• "The Hermeneutical Key" - Christians and Muslims use the same words but mean different things. Jay explains why this is case and shows how we can communicate effectively.
• "The Biography of Muhammad" - An introduction to the biography of Muhammad and the historical questions around it.
• "Understanding Radical Islam" - Who are these people, where do they get their authority from, why do they do it & what should be our response as Christians?
• "Evangelising Muslims through the common questions they raise."

These talks have been recorded along with an interview with Jay.

Fayek Iskander looks at the life of Muhammad according to the Qur'an, Hadith and his biography. Fayek also looks at the Biblical texts Muslims claim to be predictions about Muhammad. He also speaks of the life of Muhammad and the life of Jesus Christ. Muhammad said that he could not guarantee anyone, including himself, getting into Paradise. Jesus Christ offers salvation and eternal life to everyone who believes in him.

Fayek Iskander is a minister of the Presbyterian Church of Australia. He delivered this speech on 7 April 2006 at Marana Hall, Hurstville NSW.
