In only a few weeks time (3-7 December), over one thousand students will spend five days reflecting on what it means to be ‘in Christ’ at the AFES National Training Event (NTE). They will be especially trained in how to understand and communicate the gospel of Jesus, before being sent out on mission around Australia.
Even though we’re celebrating 15 years of NTE this year, we’re praying that it doesn’t simply become an institution or ‘just another Christian conference’. But rather it remains sharp in its challenge to this generation: spurring them on to transform Australia and the world through radical, self-sacrificial and joyful living for the glory of Christ.
So we’d love all of our students, staff and supporters to call on our great God to be at work in and through NTE. Please pray before, during and after the conference for God to raise up a generation of students ready to live and die for Jesus and his gospel!
