David and Traci Mitchell

David works with Wollongong Uni's Evangelical Christian Union. He spends most of his time with the Engineering faculty students and international students.

The main part of his job is in meeting up with students to read the bible one-to-one. He is being trained in public bible taching through the friday night FOCUS meeting (webpage). He also works on the promotions and communication commitee making fliers, powerpoints and newsletters.

Traci is in her final semester of a physiotherapy degree at Sydney Uni's Cumberland Campus, with only one subject to go. This should mean that she will graduate half way through the year.

Traci is planning to work part time at Wollongong uni as well as part time at another job. We will are waiting to see how this will turn out.

how we met...

David and Traci met at a community brass band in the summer of 2000/01. After knowing each other for about 6 months David asked Traci to the movies and we've been together ever since.
We got married on the 8th of January 2006.
