Students sharing their faith in Jesus with other students – that’s the heart of AFES, or the Australian Fellowship of Evangelical Students. We’re a network of 60+ Christian student groups on unis all around Australia.

Wherever you’re at with faith, AFES groups are a great place to ask your biggest and boldest questions, read the Bible, make life-long friends, and grow in Christian maturity.

Students sharing the gospel with students

AFES groups are led by students, for students, with the hope of reaching them for Christ. On campus, students open the Bible with their friends, invite honest questions, and share the life-changing news of Jesus.

WHAT WE DO

Many people go through uni without ever encountering Jesus. We want to change that – everyone should have the chance to hear the good news he offers. And for those who do know Jesus, we want them to be equipped and encouraged to live for him in all parts of their lives.

Each campus has its own program and schedule, but there are common things to every AFES group. You can expect to connect with a warm and welcoming community, study the Bible together, and be equipped and trained to grow more like Jesus.
