Praise God for all the conversations over Trimester 2 at CU Deakin Uni Burwood‘s weekly evangelism stall; that these conversations with students will lead to curiosity to hear about the good news of Jesus and that God will open their eyes to their need for a Saviour.

Pray for CU Swinburne Uni as they prepare for their upcoming AGM being held on 30 October: for wisdom and God’s guidance as they train and elect new student leaders.

Please pray for the upcoming CU and FOCUS Monash Uni Clayton AGM and for the new committee that are nominated; that God would use them to lead the club wisely as they pursue the mission of seeing more people know a disciple-making disciple of Christ.

Praise God for the four Credo UTS FOCUS students who have recently committed their lives to Him; that they would keep their eyes fixed on Jesus and that their Christian community would faithfully encourage and guide them in God’s love.

AFES Evangelism || “He must hold firm to the trustworthy word as taught, so that he may be able to give instruction in sound doctrine and also to rebuke those who contradict it.” Titus 1:9 | Pray that student leaders and staff would guard and proclaim the truth of the gospel for the salvation and perseverance of God’s children.

Pray for the new ACUCU Melbourne leaders; that they will be able to lead the club in a way that will continue to glorify God.

Pray that God would continue to give opportunities to members of GCS Griffith Uni Brisbane to read the bible with non-Christians and that they will be able to see Christ as King and Saviour.

Pray that AFES will double our numbers offering themselves for Missionary Service.

Pray for NTE being held from 6-10 December; that God will prepare the hearts and minds of the members of CCS ACU Canberra that will attend, and that those who are still unsure about registering will be encouraged to go.

AFES Apprenticeships || Ask God to enable Apprentices to persist in evangelism as the academic year rolls towards closing, giving them energy, tenacity and love for the lost. And ask that evangelistic contacts become believers in Christ.

Pray for CU UNE Armidale, and their NTE Mission from 23-26 October in Glen Innes; that it will be a great experience to love and serve others for all who are involved, and it will continue to help people know and grow in Jesus.

Pray for IVCF (IFES North America) and that some staff and students were recently able to attend Formacion in Georgia, Eurasia. Thank God for the North American team’s eye-opening, faith-strengthening, relationship-building, and ministry-affirming experience and that they will inspire others towards a deeper concern for God’s work on campuses across the world.

Pray that students in the EU at Sydney Uni who are stepping into new leadership roles for 2026 would serve in these positions faithfully and humbly in the year ahead.

Pray UQES Brisbane for a smooth handover for their new student executive.

Pray for Monash Caulfield CU and R as she experiences mockery of her faith in her faculty; that she would remember the peace God provides, her guaranteed eternal future with God and be inspired to share the Gospel all the more.

AFES FOCUS || Pray for FOCUS staff and groups preparing international students to return home or elsewhere.

AFES Evangelism || “… and at the proper time manifested in his word through the preaching with which I have been entrusted by the of God our Savior;” Titus 1:3 | When Christ is proclaimed, God’s truth and promise of life is held out to our dying world. Pray that AFES would keep speaking this truth.

Pray for EOC ACU North Sydney Cross Minded being held on 20 October where grads, 3rd and 4th year students learn about how to continue serving God with their lives: for good reflections and conversations, and for growth in their convictions about serving

Pray that AFES will double our reach in calling people to turn back to Jesus in repentance and faith.

Pray for the CU UWA Perth’s End of Year Dinner on 20 October that many students will attend and be encouraged by each other’s company, reflecting on the year together.

Pray that USQ Christian Students will keep their eyes fixed upon Jesus during the last Trimester as assignments and commitments pile on.

Praise God for His work through the Uni Bible Group UOW’s Stall. Pray for more gospel interactions and that God would be working in the hearts of those who approach the stall, drawing them to Himself.

Pray that in these final weeks of semester as stress over assessments increases, Bathurst CS CSU students would be living differently from their peers and that they would be reliant on God and know His peace.

Pray for the IFES World Student Day being held today as students, staff, and supporters join together to pray for students worldwide and celebrate all that God is doing through local IFES ministry in the world’s universities.

Pray in thanks for a fruitful Mission Boost Week for EOC ACU North Sydney during last August: there were some newcomers who heard the Gospel so pray that they keep coming to EOC and that the Holy Spirit works in their hearts so that they might surrender their lives to Christ.

Thank God for the willing new executive members of University Fellowship of Christians at the University of Tasmania, Hobart and pray for wisdom as they enter their leadership roles.

Pray for the newly appointed Christian Union at Deakin University Burwood, Victoria Student leader executives; that as they step into their roles leading the club, they will lead with unity, wisdom and humility just like Jesus Christ.

Pray for the new Australian National University, Canberra FOCUS exec committee; that the handover will go smoothly and that the new leaders will prayerfully depend on God as they adjust to their roles.

Pray that in line with AFES’ first value, by His grace, God will transform lives on our campuses into the likeness of Jesus.

AFES Evangelism || “… in hope of eternal life, which God, who never lies, promised before the ages began …” Titus 1:2 | Praise God that his promise of life in Christ is certain and guaranteed in God’s faithfulness. Pray for 2 friends who need God’s gift of eternal life.

Praise God for some newcomers at Christian Union, Swinburne University of Technology, Hawthorn, Victoria who are keen to dive into the Bible, even at a busy time of semester; that the Christians there who have experienced Christ’s love would continue to grow in sharing the truth in love and welcoming newcomers.

Pray for University of Queensland Evangelical Students, Brisbane, for those opening up the Bible with unbelievers following our Meet Jesus mission week – that many would put their faith in Christ.

Praise God for Monash University, Clayton’s Christian Union and FOCUS‘s recent debate with the Philosophy Society on the topic of Justice. It was a massive turn-out and a wonderful opportunity to share the gospel with many people who don’t know Jesus yet. Pray for continued conversations and that God would be softening the hearts of those that attended to receive his gospel.

Pray for the University of Western Australia Christian Union’s newly elected committee; that they will faithfully plan for the next year ahead.

AFES Apprenticeships || Pray for ‘graduating’ Ministry Apprentices as they make decisions about what’s next – that God will give them a fire in their hearts for the growth of the kingdom, a healthy assessment of their ministry capacities, and trust in God’s sovereign direction and provision.

Pray that University of Southern Queensland Christian Students will keep growing in their understanding of God through the Ministries on Campus (Equip, Bible talks, ABC’s, FOCUS).

Give thanks for the University of Wollongong Uni Bible Group’s newly elected student committee for 2026. Pray for continued growth in maturity in Christ, as they seek to faithfully lead and shepherd Uni Bible Group in proclaiming Jesus at UOW.

Pray for Christians at University at Australian Catholic University, Melbourne as they hold their AGM on 8 October; that the new leaders will have wisdom as they lead the club.

Pray for Christian Union, Macquarie University, Sydney’s prayer and praise afternoon on the 7th of October. Give thanks for the opportunity to come together as a campus group to be prayerfully dependant on God.

Pray for the Bathurst Christian Students at Charles Sturt University AGM on 7 October; that it will go smoothly and reflect God’s heart for Bathurst CSU.

AFES Evangelism || “Paul, a servant of God and an apostle of Jesus Christ, for the sake of the faith of God’s elect and their knowledge of the truth, which accords with godliness,” Titus 1:1 | Faith, knowledge of the truth, and godliness go together. Pray that this would be evident in our lives and proclamation of the gospel for the glory of Jesus.

Pray that in line with the AFES Mission statement we will together present students on our campuses mature in Jesus (by God’s strength).

Pray that Sydney University Evangelical Union students would be lights to their campus in the midst of stressful exams and assignments.

AFES FOCUS || Pray as the FOCUS National Strategy Team plans for FOCUS Staff Training next year.

Pray that Christians on campus at Caulfield would notice Monash University, Caulfield’s Christian Union, the maturing, community and spiritual growth it provides and join the club.

Pray that God would help the members of Griffith Christian Students at Griffith University, Brisbane to finish the semester well and to continue to boldly proclaim Christ on campus in the last few weeks.

Pray for University of New England, Armidale Christians United as a large number of students go home for the break in the first two weeks of October; that they enjoy their break and feel refreshed, ready for the third trimester.

Pray for MENA (IFES Middle East and North Africa) as they seek Jesus amidst war, violence, political instability, economic insecurity, and persecution. Pray for an end to war and violence in the region and ask the Lord to guide and provide for young graduates grappling with difficult decisions about work and witness.

Pray for the Credo at the University of Technology Sydney AGM being held on 2 October: for the 2026 leader nominees, that God would calm their nerves and help them serve with humility and steadfast trust in Him.

Pray that the Canberra Christian Society at Australian Catholic University, Canberra members with continue to connect with each other throughout university life to increase.

Pray that University of Southern Queensland Christian Students will keep growing in their understanding of God through the Ministries on Campus (Equip, Bible talks, ABC’s, FOCUS).
