Pray for Christian Union, Macquarie University, Sydney as students engage in a time of heightened mission from 1-23 August; that many students might know about Jesus and believe on Him for their salvation.

University of Western Australia Christian Union and their Dial-a-Donut campus mission events from 28 July-6 August; that CU students would take advantage of the evangelistic outreach opportunity and that God would soften the hearts of those they evangelise to.

Please pray Campus Bible Study students at University of NSW that as they come to exam time, they would remember God’s sovereign provision in everything.

Pray for Bendigo Christian Union at La Trobe University, Bendigo as they start their Easy English Uncover Group for ESL students; that God would bring international students to the Uncover Group and that they would uncover who Jesus is for themselves.

Pray for Queensland University of Technology Christians as they prepare for Reach Week from 3-7 August; that many students would be encouraged to share Jesus with the campus and friends! Pray that God would use use this week to save sinners to salvation in His son, and that students would continue to be encouraged to keep sharing Jesus even after the week.

Pray for CU UWA Perth Mark Drama from 3-4 August; that students would be encouraged to invite their non-Christian friends and that those who attend would come away wanting to know more about Jesus.

Pray for Bathurst Christian Students at Charles Sturt University; that the guest speakers who will be speaking on Tuesday nights from 4-18 August will share God’s word clearly from Philippians, and that the hearts of the students would be soft to hear and respond.

Pray for Christians at University at Australian Catholic University, Melbourne and for the Bible studies beginning on 3 August; that leaders will be found for each group and that many will attend.

Give thanks for Orange Christian Students at Charles Sturt University and the invitation night that was held on 29 July. Pray for great ongoing Gospel conversations and that the unbelievers who attended would take next steps to putting their trust in Jesus.

Pray for the bible study groups at Christian Union at Deakin University Burwood, Victoria as they study Proverbs this semester; that the LORD would prove the value of his wisdom, and that these groups would lovingly encourage each other in following it.

Pray ACUCU Melbourne and for the Alpha course beginning on August; that it may be fruitful and that new people will attend.

Pray for GCS Griffith Uni Brisbane: for an increase in the groups eagerness for missions as they run their ‘Can I Trust This Book?’ talks from 5-6 August, and that many non-Christian students would attend and find out about the reliability of the Bible.

Pray for University Fellowship of Christians at the University of Tasmania, Hobart as they prepare for their evening session with guest speaker Rory Shiner on 6 August; that guests would hear God’s word, be encouraged and understand the role of Christianity in Australian History.

Pray for the University Fellowship of Christians at UTAS Hobart as they host a special evening event on 6 August. With the theme of ‘From Colonialism to Secularism: Christianity in Australia’, pray that many will attend to learn more about how Christianity has laid the foundations of their modern society, and what the Gospel means for them.

Pray for Port Macquarie Christian Students’ ABC groups, thanking God that many non Christian’s are interested in reading the Bible. Pray that God will keep revealing himself to them.

Pray that AFES will double our numbers offering themselves for Missionary Service.

Pray that Evangelicals on Campus staff and students, at the Australian Catholic University, Strathfield would wholly rely on God as they start a new semester and meet around God’s word.

Pray for new RMIT Christian Union, Melbourne sign-ups; that they will hear and accept the gospel and have their lives transformed.

AFES FOCUS || Pray for the international students who attended recent Mid-Year Conferences to grow in Christ-like character and apply what they have learnt.

Pray for Uni Bible Study students at Charles Sturt University, Albury-Wodonga as they invite their friends to pariticpate in the 321 course, and for the group members who will participate in some extra training to learn how to write their own Bible studies to lead later in the session.

Pray for Ballarat Christians at Uni, at Federation University; that they would see future leaders from within the group step up and take on more serving roles in preparation for next year.

Pray for University Fellowship of Christians at the University of Tasmania, Launceston and their missions being held throughout the semester.

Pray that in line with the AFES Mission statement we will together present students on our campuses mature in Jesus (by God’s strength).

Pray for the election of a new Orange CS CSU committee on 12 August; that God would continue to raise up faithful godly and bold leaders in the group. Pray also for the raising up of a staffworker to replace Greg to start in 2027.

Please pray for the students of University of Wollongong Uni Bible Group and FOCUS; that after considering God and His mission at MYC, they would joyfully and courageously proclaim Jesus on campus in Semester 2, particularly during evangelism from 3–13 August and Question & Dessert Night on 13 August. Pray that through this God would draw many to Himself through His Son.

Pray for Monash University, Clayton’s Christian Union and FOCUS’ mission week from 10-14 August; that it will encourage students about God’s mission for the world and what it means to be sent out as a disciple-making disciple.

Pray for University of New England, Armidale Christians United and their committee: for those who are leaving committee and that the new committee will begin to work together well including at their committee retreat on 14-15 August. Pray that the retreat will be a great opportunity to plan how they can continue to proclaim Jesus on campus.

Pray for BCU Fed Uni and the Food for Thought outreach night on 18 August; that it will be well attended and create gospel opportunities and connections.

Pray for UGBM (IFES Madagascar); that the ministry will remain open on Madagascar’s campuses as some groups have recently had restrictions placed on their activities. Pray that UGBM will keep the spiritual atmosphere at the university warm so that all will find a way to Christ amid the challenges they face.

Pray for Sunshine Coast Christian Students at University of the Sunshine Coast, Queensland and for new believers and those who are interested in learning about Jesus in their community.

Pray for the Bathurst CS CSU students who live on campus; that they would be a bright light for Christ amongst their non-Christian friends, and for all the students to be encouraging each other in their walks with Christ.

Pray for the actors in Credo’s production of the John Drama on 17 and 18 August as they learn their lines and bond as a team. Pray that Credo members would be bold in inviting their classmates and that many non-believers would attend.

Pray for RMIT CU and the ‘Food for Thought’ night on 18 August; that all who attend will engage in fruitful and godly conversations about the gospel and Christ. Pray that lives can be transformed and that many will consider Jesus through ‘Food for Thought’ and other campus activities this semester.

Pray for Graduate Christian Union at the University of Melbourne as they have their AGM on 18 August; that God gives wisdom and courage to incoming exec members to do his will. Pray also for the outgoing exec members; that as they finish roles, they will continue to serve God’s kingdom and do his will.

Pray for CU and FOCUS Monash Uni Clayton’s start of their main study on Ecclesiastes from 18 August – running to the end of the semester: for the speaker Stu as he prepares each talk and that CU members will be mobilised and matured by these difficult passages.

Pray that students at the Notre Dame Bible Fellowship at the University of Notre Dame, Fremantle, will find the upcoming Mark Uncover sessions to be a blessing and something that helps them share the gospel with others.

Pray for CU Mac Uni as students perform the Mark Drama from 19-20 August; that the students will be faithful to the gospel of Mark and many fruitful conversations will begin.

Pray for Griffith Christian Students at Griffith University, Brisbane: that the group will have a strengthened heart for mission on campus, an that they would be praying diligently for opportunities to reach people with the Gospel.

Pray that in line with AFES’ first value, by His grace, God will transform lives on our campuses into the likeness of Jesus.

Please ask God to be working in the Tuesday night CU Deakin Uni Burwood Strand groups as they recommence, growing every student in their bible reading conviction and skills, in order to build his church.

Pray for CU UNE Armidale as they host a Bush Dance on 22 August; that this will be a great opportunity for fun and fellowship, that new connections will be made, and that people will be interested and begin to come along to CU weekly events.

Pray for Bendigo CU La Trobe as they focus on evangelism this coming semester; that students would be willing to have gospel conversations with their classmates and that they would be equipped in doing so.

Pray for the University Fellowship of Christians at UTAS Hobart as the begin to prayerfully consider nominations for the 2027 executive team and committees; that many might be excited to step up into positions of leadership, and that God may grant wisdom surrounding who would be the best fit for each role.

Pray for GHAFES (IFES Ghana) and give thanks for all who are involved in the Short-Term Involvement in Community Service program, leaving the familiarity of campus life to serve in rural, under-served, and unreached communities across Ghana. Pray that young graduates will continue to hear God’s call to cross-cultural mission.

Pray for Sunshine Coast CS and for wisdom and renewed strength to lead as they start their 2nd trimester.

Pray for the Uni Fellowship Launceston Bible study group to grow in numbers and deeply in God’s word.

Pray that AFES will double our reach in calling people to turn back to Jesus in repentance and faith.

Pray for the new UBS CSU Albury-Wodonga prayer meeting; that people will be able and willing to come along, and that Albury can be a prayerful campus. Pray that they can also find a time that suits as many people as possible amongst busy schedules.

Thank God that Port Mac CS students will be attending the SPARK young adults conference on rom 28-30 August and pray that they will grow in their faith during this time and be encouraged by the speakers and young adults from the region.

AFES FOCUS || Pray for new international students enrolling mid-year to join their FOCUS groups and learn about Christ and grow in Christ.

Pray that the newly established EOC ACU Strathfield global prayer groups would be a fruitful and encouraging time as students lift their eyes to see how God is at work across the globe.

Pray for CBS at UNSW and for those on campus who have been invited to hear the gospel this term; that God would be at work to turn their hearts to him.
